As a verger, Eileen works closely with the clergy to ensure worship services run smoothly and in decent order. Much of her work happens in the background but occasionally she dons her verger vestments. Eileen also serves as the worship ministry scheduler, keeps the parish registry, manages the website, and administers the Safeguarding program for Trinity. Eileen, and her husband, Grady, have been members of Trinity for 34 years, and Eileen has served as verger for 20 years. She is a life member and Fellow of the Vergers Guild of the Episcopal Church and often attends their yearly conference.
